Celebrating Australian Birds and International Street Art

Since 2011 we’ve produced a limited number of Australian Birds calendars mainly for family and friends. Then in 2016 we produced our very first Street Art calendar. Again the purpose here was not commercial but, rather, to celebrate the existence of interest and beauty – sometimes found in the most unlikely places.

In 2017 we again produced a limited quantity of these calendars. The pictures were carefully selected from the best I have taken (and processed) mainly during the previous year. All the birds are from Australia or New Zealand. The street art for 2018 came from Norway, Sweden, Iceland, London and Brisbane. As it turned out certain changes in visual acuity meant that our final bird calendar appeared in 2018. We are, however, continuing with street art – the latter being somewhat easier as the subjects are larger and tend to stay in one place! The 2019 images come from Glasgow, Bristol, London, Brisbane, Melbourne, Geelong and Toowoomba. The new 2020 calendar also includes images from Positano, Seville and Valparaiso.
